The theme of the exhibition revolves around the relationship between humans and nature, as well as nature itself. This motif has been present in the artist's work for a long time, both in her paintings and videos, serving as a starting point which she manipulates in various ways during her creative process, creating an image of what influences her most strongly. She is interested in aspects of geographical determinism, which signifies the dependence of human development on nature, as well as attempts at complete independence from, or even rejection of nature, aligning with the trend of geographical nihilism. The world is characterized by dualism, contrast, and opposites. This is also true in the relationship between humans and nature. Love for nature can be juxtaposed with its severe devastation. Most people feel attached to and respectful towards it. Nature soothes and amazes, but it also frightens during extreme and catastrophic natural events, which in the modern world often result from human interference with the environment. The threads that define and shape the exhibition's concept are primarily set in the relationship between humans and nature, in both positive and negative aspects. Nature integrates into the human body, specifically into the artist's body, which becomes the main medium for the presented content. On one side, there are images where the relationship has a solely positive connotation. There is peace, gratitude, and unity with nature. This somewhat idyllic character of the works in the "Close to Nature" cycle transforms in the "Far from Nature" cycle. Larger format works emerge. The formal solutions do not undergo significant changes. The artist continues to portray herself, but optimism becomes increasingly difficult to find. The perspective focuses on critical observation of the world and fears related to environmental degradation. The human body ceases to be safe, showing splinters, wounds, and pain. None of this is pleasant for humans, both in terms of direct threats and visual representation. However, humans themselves are the cause of these fears, contributing with their own hands to many of the modern world's dangers. Reminiscences of nature itself appear in various forms. Clumps of woolly, dry grass or moss growing from cracks in the facade, the sound of rain, or melting glaciers wrapped in sheets of light fabric.
